Free Seniors Circle Class Explains Property-Tax Exemptions for Seniors and Veterans
CHICAGO — Windy City Seniors and the Austin-Irving Branch of the Chicago Public Library will co-sponsor a free Seniors Circle class on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
A representative from the Cook County Assessor’s Office will explain the different property-tax exemptions available to seniors and veterans. Attendees will also learn whether they may qualify to file for a Certificate of Error if they missed an exemption for which they were eligible.
Seniors Circle offers informative classes for older adults at the Austin-Irving Branch Library. The program is free and will last approximately one hour.
